Ngwala Willumbong Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation that is dedicated to delivering quality specialist alcohol and drug residential rehabilitation and outreach support services to meet the needs of Aboriginal people and their families.
Ngwala Willumbong Aboriginal Corporation (Ngwala) is a State-wide Community Controlled Organisation serving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Victoria.
Our organisation was founded by our Elders and community Members to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander People, families and community.
We provide Alcohol and Drug Treatment and Recovery, Homelessness programs, Public Intoxication Responses, Counselling, Family Violence support, Youth services and more.
To gain wellness and to improve.
We exist to deliver quality services to meet the needs of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People, their families and their communities. We drive positive change and healing for the people we help by focusing on a variety of services such as alcohol and drug treatment and recovery, housing, homelessness and a variety of other services.
To provide culturally responsive, innovative, and holistic AOD and homelessness services including family violence and social emotional wellbeing supports to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Create a culturally-responsive, evidence-informed, service delivery framework and model of care
Locate fit-for-purpose therapeutic facilities and services across Victoria where community need exists
Change Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander AOD and homelessness policy, practice and investment
Develop AOD homelessness and healing services for our youth and families
Provide culturally-appropriate health promotion and harm reduction approaches
Support the transition of our people from prison into family and community

The Quality Improvement Council promotes continuous quality improvement in health and community services through the provision of standards, accreditation programs & developmental resources for the benefit of health services users staff and the wider community. QIC Accreditation certifies that the organisation has met the relevant Standards and is participating in the QIC Program to build continuous quality improvement.
